Our 22,343 square foot Recreation Center was built by an ambitious community in 1995. We’re conveniently located directly behind Town Hall and the Police Department at 1121-B North Lake Park Blvd. We’ve undergone many renovations over the years to accommodate a growing island population!

Enrollment Information
There are a couple ways to enroll in the Carolina Beach Recreation Center!
- You can visit us at the Recreation Center located at 1121-B North Lake Park Blvd (behind Town Hall and the Police Department). We'll be happy to give you a tour and provide you with a Membership Application. If you love being prepared and need to save time, click here to download the Membership Application.

Facility Overview
The Carolina Beach Recreation Center provides various activities with hours of operation to fit anyone's schedule! The facility is equipped with indoor basketball court, pickleball court, racquetball court, weight room, cardiovascular room, youth lounge, group fitness studio, art room, lockers and showers.
Cardio Room: In 2024, we added brand new commercial grade Life Fitness cardio equipment to our Cardio Room. The cardio room consists of the following equipment: 5 treadmills (3 with dedicated tv's), 3 ellipticals, 2 recumbent bikes, 2 upright bikes, and 2 rowers. The room also has two 40" tv's with cable for your enjoyment.
Weight Room: In addition to the multiple pieces of equipment that were already in place we added new dumbbells, weight plates, a 7-station jungle system, smith machine, leg curl and extension cable.
Multi-Purpose Room: This area is a great space to attend an exercise class or enjoy one of our 15 indoor cycling bikes!
Independent Contract Instructors
We are always looking for instructors to offer new classes and programs at the Carolina Beach Recreation Center!
